That whole sequence leading to the GA never occurs if anyone other than Okposo had that empty net chance. I can't even laugh at him any more. It's just sad they keep throwing him out there.
Okposo wasn't the fastest guy to begin with, and now he's lost about 3 steps. Might be the slowest forward I've ever seen
2/22: Skinner + TT scratched - lossI am glad we finally figured out that everything was all Jeff Skinner's fault. it just took them a game to shake off his bad vibes. That Gusev goal was definitely Skinner's fault, they didn't shake out all the vibes
lol man he was a solid player otherwise*Andrew Brunette finally enters the offensive zone despite being retired for 15 years*
pretty sure we've been in every game he's started this year...done his job.for this game only
same for me bud....dont say itMe to GF at 29 seconds: boy, Ullmark is really working hard for his shutout.
27 seconds: NJ scores
Sorry, Linus. I know better
lol man he was a solid player otherwise
lol followed closely by Jason Allison!*Andrew Brunette finally enters the offensive zone despite being retired for 15 years*

Sabres are going to regret not signing Ullmark to a multiyear deal big time.
Who has been the team MVP?cool, he’s done his job, he’s not been the teams mvp.
Sure do hope they don't coach joining the rush / attacking the net out of him.Bryson outside the penalty has played decently as well.
I'd love the Sabres to add clones of him and Tobi Rieder. My soft man crush for this season might have to be Sheahan. Strong on the PK, good 4th line player, gets the puck in deep and works the boards. Happy he has worked out so far
Of the three of them, only Girgs is signed next year. I would welcome back Sheahan and Rieder. Great value for the money, even with a raise. It's like their games are impervious to the current suckitude of the Sabres, like lead blocks the rays of Kryptonite. The only regret I have is he’s not going to play with Girgs this season. Those two together would’ve been fantastic, especially with Rieder.
I'm still counting that as a shutout in my book. Not fair for Ullmark.
The Sabres can never have enough centers. After the deficiency of the past decade, we could have 9 centers for the next 6 years and it would only even it out.Sabres had 9 centers in the lineup![]()

I have been thinking about this a lot. Ullmark reminds me a bit of Biron who was a very good goalie, but not quite a clear cut number one. If we had a better goalie with Ullmark backing him up, we'd be set.He had a great game last night, but I disagree. He's a solid #2 goalie. We need a true #1, and Hutton needs to be sent packing . He's an AHL caliber goalie IMO (Hutton).
RistoWho has been the team MVP?
Lazar...Olofsson...Reinhart...collective strong will and personal responsibility??
Cody Eakin will be at bad Vlad whipping boy levels at some point. He wins faceoffs, but even then his % is not sustainable. His career FO % is 50.1. He really doesn't look like a two-way forward at all. It's all fine and dandy to have a shutdown line, but if he and KO get 2-3 goals each, and Toby gets 7, then that line single handedly ruins the entire team. Your third line can't be a black hole. That production wouldn't even qualify as 4th line production.LOL, Eakin
I would say he has had the biggest impact on our games considering the putrid scoring and D help he's recieved.cool, he’s done his job, he’s not been the teams mvp.
