While I'm all about infusing youth into the lineup gradually/over time and on a piece by piece basis, none of the current youth is going to set the world on fire.
Don't get me wrong..I do very much like the younger players but I'm just not into this whole crap shoot mentality..

I hear people mention crap shoots when it comes to younger players, but I am curious as to what constitutes a non crap shoot?

Listen. This is not going to be a popular post and idc. This team might very well be a playoff team in the east.
The rooks are coming together and finding their stride.
The king has been playing to his namesake.
And the defense will get better in this new system. Shattenkirk will regain form midseason. That injury takes time to overcome.
I'm sorry to say it but we will not get Hughes or Kakko.
This is a team that will become deadly after the all star break, and I hope I am not wrong.
We already have the pieces for a dynasty in the system. If we are in the running, stay put and let the rooks get playoff experience.
