What Eiserman doesn't do very well is hunt the puck. I actually think he has a chance to be a good goal scorer in the league. One of our biggest limiting factors is forechecking. This is an area that Danielson, Kasper, and MBN all excel at while going along with their skillsets. It is something we needed desperately along with the speed quotient to back off defenses and get more controlled entries or at least in these dumps meet the guys in the corner with guys that like to apply forward pressure. I think MBN is going to be a very impactful F1, the big thing will be after turning over the puck can he sink into dead zones and utilize his big shot as he gets lost in scramble coverage.

Seriously. We’re excited about a guy who runs opponents but can’t score. Those are two way contract guys.

How about some prospects who can either score or defend? That would be nice.

I hope Cole Eiserman's NHL debut is at LCA and he scores 6 goals on Cossa with MBN and Danielson on the ice for all 6 against. Maybe ShanahanMan could be forced to sit behind the Islanders bench with his eyes taped wide open and his arms and legs tied down to his seat too

Kasper and Mazur are a bit similar with the grittiness but neither have his shot. I'm getting some Johan Franzen vibes from him.

He's who I'm hoping for honestly. A 30/30 guy with a wicked shot who is incredibly strong and just bullies guys to the net. A guy that lifts his game in the playoffs and handles the more physical game of the playoffs well.

I just hope his health holds up better. Hearing the stories of how Johan doesn't remember like half his career breaks my heart, and that the fact that last I heard he was still having issues.
