It’s funny if you look at the first 15 games of last season of teams that had 12pts.

Nashville went on a crazy run and made the playoffs - they were in a retool/rebuild, Trotz f***ed that all up this past summer, they were more of a fluke than anything,.

The other two - Wild and Oilers fired their coach to get that boost they needed with the voice going stale to the players and made the playoffs. Pens had 16pts and still missed with the same dipshit coach with the same dipshit system with the same dipshit usage. This year the Pens have better special teams which oddly enough Quinn I will give credit to for the powerplay and Vellucci is always money with the PK, but the head coach managing minutes and usage of the line-up lol, now he can’t use them as a scapegoat.

Seriously, Sullivan has no scapegoat unless he spins a narrative with FSG and their butt plugs Yohe and Rossi that Dubas failed Sullivan.




Also good on ya lad, Lizotte. JP was smart to throw the puck and Bunts crashing created the right amount of chaos.

Robinson has been good for the Canes, its like a coach that somehow knows how to use his line-up, would figure that out.

Robinson has 7pts in 12 games, he’s a player that has never passed 30pts in a single season. He had 2 goals in 40 games last year for Buffalo.

Love guys like 28? Year old blake lizzotte getting meaningless goals in a blowout game on a bad team. It's such a benefit for this non contending team to see Hayes and Lizzotte and Acciari get goals instead of young players.

I like Blake Lizotte, liked the signing but then they got Glass, Hayes, kept Acciari, Nieto was rumoured to be coming back this season and then it was like ok f***, way too many Sullivan types.

I see a lot of Kings games because of my brother and nephew, Lizotte is who you want as the 4c if Glass is going to be RW, he’s a great fit for Lizotte. At this point Blake should just keep busting his ass and be trade bait so he can get the f*** out of here as well at the TDL lol.

I like how that dipshit Rupp or Getzoff were like Roslovic was floating around and a good pick up, lol what? Roslovic has been a fantastic top 9 player for a while, he’s become a consistent 40+ point C/W and was on pace for it last season with 31pts in 59 games (43-44pt pace which is on par with his previous 2 seasons before he was moved to the Rangers).

I am definitely biased, been a huge fan since his draft and wished they’d get him from the Jets.

The hardest decisions Letang makes each day is if he needs to condition his hair today or not and what outfit to wear to the game. At this point, his son is probably a smarter player than he is.

Pens either bust their ass in the first period and get a lead and then shit the bed half way through the 2nd and into the 3rd only to try for the last 5mins to either get it to OT and lose or lose in regulation.

Or they get their ass handed to them for 30mins, try for parts of the 2nd, then get owned for half of the 3rd and then try for the last 10mins to say look we tried!

I feel like it’s been this way for like 3+ seasons now.

I want Carolina to score 3 or 4 more. I want that piece of shit Gronk to have that Wings game type of performance against the Pens in the last 6mins to push it to 8-1 with his Hattrick and then set up 2 more to Robinson for his Hattrick and Roslovic scoring another to make it 11-1.

Lol over performing? Martin Necas has been a fantastic player for a while, the issue was he just needed more time to get it all together but he showed a shit ton of flashes of it. The roster needed him to be W/C for a while before they settled him into a stable role.

Necas is likely a +90pt player this season. A big help for him was the year he spent with Vellucci winning in Charlotte after coming from Europe straight to the NHL. Last 2 seasons though he’s been showing this ability.

For a while he was C and then RW, this season he’s been almost entirely a RW and looks comfortable. Sullivan would be confused by that sort of thing.

Sullivan is ruining how good Puljujarvi has been and the one bright spot we have other than Geno being back to his old self only to be the victim of Sullivan pulling the hot player off of Geno’s line to put with Sid, he took Rakell from him and then literally took him off his natural C spot to be wing…

Man you sound more optimistic than me and I'm usually the one who the pessimists rage on for being optimistic around here .

Either way, I think everyone knows Sullivan isn't going anywhere and that's why there's not as much ranting in gdts/pgts as there was last year or the year before. There used to be some hope that he'd be gone. But now there's none.

He's one of a very few on this team that has not had a bad game... The odd bad shift, but even those are rare and he's been incredibly reliable... Offense has historically been lower than hoped throughout his career, however, he's a solid solid player.

That’s the thing Sullivan is awful at.

Sid, Geno, Letang, etc the veterans all get a chance to play through a bad shift. But the other players get punished for it.

Puljujarvi plays well, has a bad shift, but then gets benched for a bunch of shifts and then slowly gets back on the ice and now its in his head about his mistake and how the coach treats it and he plays cautious when he shouldn’t have to worry about that, mistakes are part of the game, you have to give them the time to play and make up for it and Sullivan has this weird idea of accountability for who gets that chance.
