Carolina’s issues is Tom Dundon is a f***ing moron. We now understand how that feels with ownership. Canes retooled, rebuilt, moved on from players that they needed to, have drafted very well and use a lot of youth. At least that means you can watch a team that has promise. The Penguins last had promise at the end of June in 2017.

Errey's on a completely different level intellectually than both of them. Even has a better personality.

I feel like the Canes keep relying on an injury prone goalie but in his entire time with the Hurricanes, he’s only been out in the first round once.

Also Rod didn’t take the job until 2018-19 so in that time frame, yeah I’d switch spots, I am talking about the team coached under Rod, not before that. Since 2018-19, Rod and the Canes have done a far better job of getting their team closer I think, a lot of young players taking massive steps this season with Necas (huge fan), Jarvis, etc, and the one player I keep wishing they’d add that they haven’t out of the ones I’ve hoped for - Roslovic.

But since 2018-19, a lot of youth pushed into the line-up, drafted well, won a total of 7 rounds vs 1? Yeah, in that time frame…Canes last season, lost to a pretty good Rangers team that lost to the eventual cup winners so I mean, it’s whatever. I think the Canes can go to the ECF again this year likely a show down with the Panthers.

I am not comparing the previous coach to now, Sullivan we can since that dipshit was coach since 2015-now and caused a lot of the shit the team is in now.

I always through Errey was extremely insightful too. And was able to quickly dissect plays.

I think his goofiness threw some people off and made him come off sometimes as a goober but he was actually pretty good at breaking down what was going on out there and yeah... like you said... he wouldn't always pull his punches. These guys are just like "HURRR NOAL ACCIARI MAKE BIG HIT THAT'S HOW WIN!"
