So far, I'm right in the middle, but okay with that. I don't think my goaltending is as bad as it appears so far, and I'm 10th in goals while being 3rd in shots, so that's going to come around in the long run. Balls is the only other person with a differential of more than -2 in those stats (he's 2nd in SOG and 9th in goals). Arsmaster's team is +6.5 so he may fall off a bit.
CRD is riding dominant goaltending and strong peripherals to a huge statistical lead so far (first in 5 of 10 categories...17.5 roto points ahead of 2nd - roughly the same gap separates 2nd from 9th...his players don't pass or play defense though). ByeWeek is solidly in second with some dominant skaters and weak goaltending. after that, there's a coupl "tiers" with 3 teams clustered from 3th-5th, and four more clustered from 6th-10th. Jannik and Mustangs are both off to exceptionally rough starts.
Balls seems to be making up for his terrible luck last year, managing to sit top 3 despite bottom 3 in roto stats. With regards to the actual (H2H) standings, this tells us that Canucker and Vanilla are worse than they should be. They are both victims of playing CRD/Bye Week last week (top 2 teams) and getting dominated. Likely that will even out as teams play everyone, because right now an unlucky week or two can have a decent team looking much worse than they are in the H2H standings.

Not surprisingly, since we're only 3 weeks into the season, strength of opponents is almost as big a factor in the rankings as your own team's performance. The bottom 5 teams have faced the 5 toughest schedules thus far.
The most surprising thing to me is Balls. He's faced the most difficult opponents of anyone in the top 7, and yet, by roto rankings vs H2H rankings his team has also out-performed their stats more than anyone else's. The best explanation I can think of is that that he's been even luckier than I thought at first, because he's playing good teams but catching them in off weeks.

I am going to get a MASSIVE boost to my roster when Eberle and Bogo come back. Been holding onto them for a long time. Thank you to the amazing IR rules.
Now I should reap the benefits. Bogo replaces Garrison who has like 1 point in 100000 games. Also from reports, Bogo is going to be on the #1 pairing and #1 PP unit. Beauty.
Eberle will be on the 1st/third line, assuming they leave mcdavid with Yakupov, and will get slotted on the 1st or 2nd PP unit.
Two huge gains for me after a few weeks. PUMPED

A legit upgrade, but still, not exactly a deal changer. Maybe 15 more points over the course of a season than the average FA replacement? That's 0.5 points per week. There are a dozen players who have been injured this year already that have comparable or greater impact than Eberle (Backstrom, Datsyuk, Getzlaf, Hossa, Keith, Price, Jagr...)

He's a peripheral pickup at best who's only broken 25 points once in his career. Garrison has outscored Bogo 2 years straight in goals, assists, BKS, PPP, and SOG.
