As a fellow NJ resident I am also grateful for this because Prudential prices allow me to actually see a few Rangers games a year because shelling out for MSG is a joke.
I'm sure it has a lot to do with the state of the world... but I am honestly blown away how many tickets are available for tonight... not even re-sale... just unsold tickets.

Love it.

Tell you what, I used to get offended by Devils attendance jokes and empty seats and whatever... but I'm 34 years old trying to buy a house and have a kid... and I can get $30 seats like 5 rows off the ice to see the Devils almost whenever I want... so for me that's a gigantic W.
I went to the NYR/NJD preseason game at The Rock this year, and while it was a complete blowout for you guys, I have to say that I enjoyed the layout/atmosphere/etc. of The Rock about the same, if not more, than MSG. And it's easier for me to get to, since I live in NJ.

Good stuff.

I was just talking to the wife about Prudential Center last night. Continental Airlines Arena lasted like 25 years. It's crazy The Rock is already about to be 15 years old... but it still seems brand new to me. I wonder if they just do some upgrades here and there.

We should be the 'fresher' team. Both coming off b2b's but we had the whole week off.

DOMINATE. either for a Shesty shutout or to protect 'Oh Boy, George.'

It occurs to me that NYR have played 10 road games and only 4 at home.

That's not an excuse, but it does matter a little.

You would hope that is a good sign, as we should, in theory, be better at home.

My ex was/is a NJD fan and we went to a pre-season game there a few years back. As much as I wanted to hate it, the place isn't half bad. Biggest downside was I must have input my number somewhere during the ticket buying process and their sales/fan outreach people still f***ing call me nearly 3 years later.

It's no surprise CBJ was easy last night. They are the only team we've handled this season. Our only 2 better than the other team performances. Tonight will be back to reality I would imagine.

I can’t wait to watch Ryan strome on the power play tonight.

only the Rangers can get the keys to the Lamborghini (Kakko and laf) and play them like a Dodge Ram and Toyota Sienna

Bread's line has figured out they need to almost ignore a lot of what applies to the 4th line. Entry, possession, slow the play down, time and space, support from the blueline and never throw it down low. Strome is a ghost on the forecheck and Kakko can't do it all by himself. Harder for Zibanejad's line that works better off the rush rather than O zone possession. Hopefully we get a few more games that are effective from Panarin's line.

Strome talked about adjusting to Kaapo but it seems like in the end, Kaapo has adjusted to Strome and Panarin. Dish the puck to Bread, read the play, make yourself open, and the rest will follow. The less Kakko has the puck the better that line will do. It'll mean more points even if Kaapo isn't play his game. The D pairing on with Panarin has to be able to support if he's getting attacked like the turnover in the 1st last night.

No Hughes tonight should let us run rampant through center ice tonight, should be tons of ice available for our east west prima donnas. Have a feeling Kreider and Kakko go off tonight
