He’s fine and Gallant said he could’ve finished the game. I think I was right in the thread when I said he was embellishing for a call and wasn’t hurt. Some people get defensive about their players and say they would never. Shesterkin is my favorite player on the team (aside from Kravtsov) but this is definitely a thing he does. The way he shook his head really hard to get his hair/sweat out of his face moments later, was not something somebody who thinks they were just concussed would do

Getting a little annoyed with Reaves on this front.... he carries a presence but he needs to assert his dominance more. He needs to send a message to anyone who gets to close to Shesty.

I wish Panarin spoke more publicly to the media without translators & to refs. He would be the nobrainer captain of our team. One of the biggest personalities in hockey

That’s what I’m hoping for. I think his game translates pretty well to center and it would involve him in the play more. He’s pretty decent on faceoffs as well

On one hand I would love Kakko to break out against the Devils more than any team...but on the other hand, it's almost fascinating to see how far he can take the streak...it's a win win I guess!

I mean the one blessing here is that it's going to be a cheap bridge contract for him with how things are going. We are going to have cap trouble anyway, so if we have a cup inspiration in the following years at least our young players come in cheap (aside from Fox obviously).

I think he could've had a couple of assists if Panarin finished a few more than his 2 non-Kakko feeds. I thought he moved well and seemed to be gaining a little bit of synchronicity on that line.

I think the only lineup decision to be made later on is on Ryan Graves. He left yesterday after getting crosschecked in the back. Ruff said he "hopes" he will be able to play tonight but the way the Devils deal with injuries Graves could be out for one day or twelve years. He might be dead actually.

Tell you what, I used to get offended by Devils attendance jokes and empty seats and whatever... but I'm 34 years old trying to buy a house and have a kid... and I can get $30 seats like 5 rows off the ice to see the Devils almost whenever I want... so for me that's a gigantic W.

Tell you what, I used to get offended by Devils attendance jokes and empty seats and whatever... but I'm 34 years old trying to buy a house and have a kid... and I can get $30 seats like 5 rows off the ice to see the Devils almost whenever I want... so for me that's a gigantic W.

As a fellow NJ resident I am also grateful for this because Prudential prices allow me to actually see a few Rangers games a year because shelling out for MSG is a joke.
