I have faith this team will be atleast a hard out in the 1st round by the time playoffs come around. I agree with Gallant that Panarin has looked better with regards to his hustling the last couple games so things are starting to head in the right direction. I wish they would have given Lafreniere 10 games to get used to rw, i know he isnt comfortable there but I'm sure he's more comfortable there than in the bottom 6.

It's time for Lafreniere to get comfortable.

He needs to get with it and embrace the challenges in the NHL and the team needs more patience with him doing so. Too much coddling.

Half full, or half empty? If they were 3-7-3 then we would have a case. But they are NOT. This is amazing to think of how this team is gelling on the road, getting to really KNOW one another. If they take that success to our MSG, then we REALLY have something going on here. Long overdue for some dominant home ice advantage. Previous excuses were based on us having inferior coaches. Gallant has to prove otherwise.

No reason not to dominate this game. They played yesterday. We shake the rust off in the 1st then take over 2nd or 3rd period. No excuses.

I'd take another 4-0, 5-0 dominating performance.
 
Interesting 2 day schedule here with multi b2b's.

CAPITALS SHUTOUT RED WINGS 2-0, then promptly defeated Columbus last night. 4 pts. In the bank.

After their tough last minute defeat, Columbus turns around and has to face the Rangers.
I believe this is the 1st time we have faced a team on the 2nd of b2b's.
Whereas we have done that a few times already.....me thinks.

One would believe we have a distinct advantage, especially with their tough loss, then again......we all KNOW better, right?

That said, we blow em' out tonight. 6-1. Hold down Furaly, he's their big sniper.....lol.

P.S. watching Tony D. playing on Carolina was really weird. Wanted Carolina to lose, but somewhat rooting for Tony.

Just finished We're The Millers. Shit that was a funny movie. Maybe it's because I'm excited with the first game in almost a week or im buzzed
