The way this is worded makes it sound like Torts really didn't want to call him up so soon..

Wow that sounds like Torts was kinda unhappy with it... rightfully so, I guess. I can see where he wants Chris to get more playing time. But I feel like if he doesn't play here at the same time, he won't get much better. I want to see less defensive lapses. That's the most important thing. He's worried about Kreider's playing time.
 
Well, I just watched The Running Man, and this is the first time in a while I've heard a crowd chant for "Richards!!" hahahaha

I didn't play the game vs. Islanders on NHL 13, as it was V-Day and I was doing my thing....

but otherwise, I've played all of our previous wins (and won in the game) except for like 1 at the beginning weekend.

I just beat the Caps 3-2. Goals by Gaborik, Staal, and Hagelin

The lack of Boyle/Stepan is upsetting but the win is promising. I trust your NHL 13 more than anything else we have.

hahaha I've sat Boyle cuz I created Miller cuz he hasn't played his 6 games yet for an update. **Looking at you, EA**

plus I just literally got my first grocery store number/date on my first ever try... at 34. That HAS to be a good omen for my beloved Rangers, no?

It isn't. You're a Rangers fan, remember? If something good happens in your life, they will negate it and vice versa. I've come to accept this.

I understand Callahan is our captain, and our heart and soul, and that he's at the top of the hierarchy when it comes to the players pecking order...but would it kill him to play LW and let our best goal scorer play on his comfortable side lol

Actually this is a really brilliant point (illustrated quite myopically by my Valentine's Day first date where I came to work in the same clothes the next day on a night the Rangers lost....to...the Islanders).

hm, would be ridiculous if he didn't play, but you never know with tort's mind games. haha
 
haven't got a particularly good feeling about this one. Let's hope they prove me wrong. Only gonna watch period 1 as I just came home from Budapest and am dead tired.
