sabres arent really out of the playoff picture oddly. a win here and they are right back in it. which must mean other teams have been horrible too.

Roy said something along the lines of that he didn't like how Ruff handled the media by calling out certain players to them, and said that is fine behind closed doors but not to the public.

He says he doesn't want to "destabilize the defense" by sitting Leopold. I'm not making that up.

Because he's playing Leopold too many minutes for what he can do. Noone is looking good back there and so Ruff is leaning on Leopold and those extra 5-6 minutes every night give him all sorts of extra opportunities to make mistakes. Factor in fatigue, his decision making seems to be that of someone who is overmatched.

I used to watch SRC when I was young on Channel 25 and they had mid-week Habs games, plus the French broadcast of Hockey Night in Canada. I used to be able to do it phonetically -- my language skills aren't much more than bar-fight-starting in French either.
