Sabres lines at morning skate:

Vanek-Hodgson-Pominville
Foligno-Ennis-Stafford
Gerbe-Grigorenko-Ott
Scott, Hecht, Kaleta, McCormick

One in the fourth need to go - who? I put my bet on Scott.

D Pairings:

Regehr - Myers
Ehrhoff - Sekera
Leopold-Weber
Brennan - Sulzer

Does that mean Sulzer is out? In that case: w t f.

If so, **** Lindy Ruff. Seriously. GTFO if that's the case. He can no longer comprehend even who is playing well, and who isn't.

I don't understand how the guy views things. Every fan out there agrees that Sulzer has been one of our best but he gets benched? Is the guy watching a different game than us?

The way I see it. If they are trying to trade Leopold...his value will not increase in the press box.

Sulzer deserves to play more then Leopold... but the reality of what Regier is trying to do is that his tradebait needs to play...(As for why Brennan is benched...uh...bout that)

That's not it. It's the Lindy likes what he knows and he knows Leopold better than Sulzer. It's a pure coach decision and has nothing to do with trading Leopold.

Are you kidding me? I thought it was for sure Leo's turn after Myers 2 games, and Sulzer is sitting? Ehrhoff said in his interview afar last game he loves playing with Alex and they have great chemistry and he said but things seem to always be changing so who knows.
These guys have gotta be so frustrated with this moron running the show, someone needs to speak up sooner or later and call this moron out.
As for the scratching Leopold doesn't help his trade value comment, playing him doesn't help it either, he plays worse every game.

Everyone relax. Leopold has played better the last few games and Sulzer will be back in the lineup soon. It is a long season.......errr

Not sure who did the 2nd audio but they should invest in a noise cancelling microphone. Hard to listen to with a cacophony going on in the background. Lots of echo and all voices washing over each other, including over Tyler.

God forbid you destabilize the worst D in the league

Thought the same thing when I heard the quote. I assume he means any fragile chemistry that may be developing lest things get worse. But, things cant get worse than last in the league in GAA and shots against with one of the best goaltenders keeping even those numbers in check a bit. Sitting Tyler, and now Sulzer (who has been playing quite well) seems to discredit the 'dont want to destabilize the D mantra)

I'm not even concerning myself with Leopold because I understand they have to keep his value up. They benched Sulzer after the Washington game because he committed a delay of game penalty and Ovechkin scored on the ensuing PP--this was also when Sulzer was generally playing pretty well. Weber does the same thing in the Boston game, Bergeron scores and...nothing. Way to be consistent, you dip****.

Benching any player just for the sole reason being that they took a delay of game penalty and it lead to a goal is stupid on its own.
