Brian Boyle has been exceptional this game, FWIW.

No, he always has been. He had that really good 13 goal season and all of a sudden he was the most important player on NYR. And I don't think anybody is saying that Dorsett is more effective than Prust. I do however think Dorsett is more skilled than Prust.

It's more the point that the posters here are griping about Dorsett because he isn't Prust, that is the problem, I'd believe. People here seem to only remember the one year Prust had with the Rangers, and forget that otherwise he was exactly what Dorsett is. Add in the fact that the realists here recognize that at 4-years, $2.5 mil per, Prust is not worth it. Dorsett and Moore/Pouliott/Zuke/or Stepan extension is worth far, far more than another mercenary who was a fan-favorite. The point is you all need to let it go. Prust is no longer a Ranger, and hasn't been for two seasons, neither of which he has been healthy for. Yeah, well worth the money. Meanwhile, Dorsett is doing everything Prust used to do, but because he isn't Prust, he is getting crapped on for being the same player.
