makes me wanna scream. sabres are bad and the announcers are unbearable. its just brutal.

team looks asleep so far. not acceptable at home. need to start to tighten up and forecheck their dmen hard. i will say our team speed got a whole lot better when hagelin came back.

oh, and this del zotto guy kinda blows.

Pouliot also makes the play away from the puck there. It's real hard to read those backhands and if he miss handles it Pouliot is there to bang it home, Peters is definitely aware of that.
 
Carolina is really putting pressure on our Ds and we are not handling that all that well.

Got to listen to John and Dave chit chat during the commercials here in Sweden. Pretty funny.

Dave really tore the refs/league apart for the Emry situation. What is it going to take, someone getting killed before they do something?

Dave's knee's hurting. He can't sit properly on that chair. What should I do, he asks John. John goes 'you don't have time for surgery that's for sure. Just pretend to sit there.'

As for the period, much better after the Hagelin goal. Starting to breakout of the zone effectively, especially the Richards line. I thought they started to buckle down and keep the puck to the outside in the D zone after the goal.

We only have one defenseman that can handle pressure from the forecheck well (Strålman) and Girardi is probably one of the easiest D's in the league to pressure into a mistake.

McD and Staal are decent at it, but I wouldn't call their ability to make calm plays "good". Strålman is very calm but almost to a fault, sometimes he loses the puck in bad areas because he is too calm.

We picked it up in the second half of that period, let's keep it up and play in the Carolina zone.
 
Dave Maloney just singled out Carl Hagelin, Christ Kreider and Zuccarello as the main reasons for the Rangers turnaround.

Think I'd mention Pouliot up there as well, he's made some important contributions
