[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

I think it was one of those games where we came out flying and they were on their heels from the start and they never really got back from it.
I think we played a solid 60 minutes. Hank made the stops he had to make. Just a great team effort.
- Carl Hagelin

It’s such a tight game that you know you have to stay sharp because one goal can change the whole game. It's a challenge, but that’s your job to try and stay focused.
The way things have been going it’s not hard to realize how important these points are and you just have to stay ready.
We played so well I wanted to be there for the guys to get this win and continue what we started in Long Island.
It’s important we get a few wins here and start building our confidence and climbing in the standings.
- Henrik Lundqvist

We’re trying to get better individually and trying to get better as a team and you see some guys taking positive strides.
And you see some other guys we need to keep working, on certain aspects, to get them where they need to be in order for us to win more games.
- Alain Vigneault

We've seen what this team is capable of when the players play well, and the system clicks.

Win over LA, win over NYI, win over BUF.

Hopefully we see more of that tonight.

LGR

Would love nothing more than to just see this team fully healthy for once :( Hope Kreider continues to play the way he's been playing, too. Love that line with him, Stepan, and Zuccarello. Who knew that letting your skill guys play together and have the freedom of flying up and down the ice would produce :dunno: :)

Kreider's backchecking and play without the puck was pretty impressive to me in the Buffalo game. Not to mention his play with the puck on the boards, stickhandling, and getting to the net.

Rangers gotta find a way to get 2 points tonight, preferably in reg or ot.

Played well against Washington and Detroit too.

That said, enjoy your shutout Mr. Peters.

Gotta win it. Otherwise you go right back to where you were.

All in conference games are big, but this one is huge considering where the teams are in the standings.

Sabres play tonight that means the game won't be on for me. I have the MSG channel and Time Warner Cable always says the Rangers game is on in the guide but when your turn it on it is the Sabres game. It truely is an awful thing.

Well they did it, they avoided being out of a playoff spot by 4 or more points come November. Hopefully the whole team takes the Kreider path and engages themselves more. They need to keep winning, especially against bad teams.

lgr.

Wonder if they start Peters as he started last night? The other goalie has only played in two NHL games, but doesn't look like he has ever started a game, always trouble for the Rangers it seems.

That's why I stream the games online about 25 or so times a year.
