Going to be a nice add at the end of season if the Wild can stay in playoff position.

PP2 going to be a lot more fun with Buium & Yurov here. Enough skill for 2 respectable units
Is the bloom off the Yurov rose, though? He is scoring at a .5 PPG in the KHL, well off last year's pace. If his play doesn't pick up, I can't see him being penciled in on a NHL PP.

Maybe if he was the 4th or 5th highest scorer on his team last year, being propped up by others.

But him being so far ahead of the pack last buys some leeway, especially since he didn't have a clean offseason.

Maybe slightly but I can see him play on the 3rd line with a more confident Ohgren and Hartman.

Throw in Buium and Wallstedt and we may not even need to make all of that new salary cap space to be young and competitive.

Too bad extra Cap space can't be carried over to other years.

I was always more impressed by his defensive play during his draft year. Thought he was so smart. And I like to be a bit more conservative with projections so thought maybe we get our Devon Toews.

But another great year ongoing stat wise, another dominant Denver season, he's going to captain and be dominant for USA team ... makes me wonder if instead of a Toews, we get a Makar/Fox/Hughes. We got two #1 dmen in Faber and Buium. LETS GO!

I am excited for what he can bring to the PP. We’ve never really had an elite QB, unless you want to count young Burns.

Certain aspects of Zeev remind me of Suter. The surgical passing, calm mind and economy of effort

I just threw up a little bit. Do you mean in general or on the power play? Zeev looks way better than I ever remember Suter looking on the power play.

In general. I expect him to be better on the PP. But like Suter, he’s smart with leverage, angles and energy conservation.
