Had a super fun weekend.
The last couple months I've had a couple really bad cases of food poisoning. Just unbelievable pain in my stomach, can't get relief, keeping me up at night, sweating vomiting etc.
Well I had another Friday night around 7 pm. By 6 am the next morning I was fed up enough to go to the ER. Described what was going on, nurse immediately said it sounded like gallstones. After a CT and Ultrasound it was confirmed and I was prepped for surgery. Couple hours later I was missing an organ I came into the hospital with and discharged.
Was home by 3:45. Unreal. Also, I guess I don't know what food poisoning feels like. Because I thought it was the worst pain in the world. But apparently it was gallstones blocking shit up.
The hospital and the staff btw were incredible. I was seen within 30 seconds of being there, admitted and knew what was going on with pain killers going through me within 2 hours and got in surgery and out of the hospital in under 11 hours. Way different experience than I've ever had. Now I wait for the bill... and can't eat or drink anything really.
