We're truly lucky to have a guy like Stamkos to have been the face of this franchise for years. I wouldn't trade his career for Crosby's, or anyone else for that matter even if that would've led to more Cups.

My biggest pet peeves in the NHL are hands down "pre" game ceremonies that go on when the game should've been long underway, but I think I can make an exception this time. That was nice to watch.

I love Stammer and I know it's an emotional night and I have nothing but respect for all of his accomplishments and everything he has done to further solidify TB as a hockey town, but c'mon, you wouldn't trade Stammer's career for Crosby's? Crosby is a top ten player all-time. Stammer might, and I mean might, barely, be top 100.

I think Crosby is the 5th best player of all time, but no I wouldn't. He's grown just that much on me.

Which is ironic because not that many years ago I was open to the idea of letting him go, when he was struggling migthily after his leg injury.
