Dating back to the start of 2011-2012, we've played in 38 extra-time games. We've won eight.

Got to give Ward the next start.

Switch them up until someone grabs the starting job again

With the effort Jordan shows on a nightly basis, he should be captain.

I've really grown to like his game, He's not really a scorer but its not his role.

I hate to say it, but, will the real Petedawg please stand up? I knew he couldn't carry on Thomas-esque numbers forever, but fact of the matter is this is now two bad games in a row from Peters and he doesn't exactly have the strongest history in net. The GTG was as soft as they get, and I don't think Murphy could have played that better without managing to get the puck off him contrary to what Mike is saying on the air. And we were bailed out on a goal in the 1st as well where Peters found himself out of position and scrambling.

Khudobin couldn't have picked a better time to accept assignment to Charlotte, could EASILY play his way back into the mix here with a good showing there.

Peters was horrible tonight, but let's remember that Cam has basically been Peters minus the occasional good game. I don't even know who gives us the best chance of winning anymore, but I wouldn't mind getting Khudobin some action sometime soon.

I don't know what Mike said, but **** anything attempting to deflect blame for that abomination of a goal. Exactly how low and soft does a shot have to be before it's no longer the defenseman's responsibility to prevent it?

Yep. Mike kept on talking about how Conner "undressed" Murphy. A caller said that that goal was a softie by Peters and Mike said "it was soft all around". No, Mike. It was a terrible goal from Peters. I don't know what else he expected Murphy to do. Sure he initially got "beat" but in the process getting "beat" meant putting Conner on his backhand.

About the time it seems like it becomes a "**** it, put SOMETHING on net", which is EXACTLY what that was from where I was sitting. Had Connor on his backhand and driving wide with Peters absolutely square to the play, and had prevented ANYTHING on the forehand. And Murphy had his stick tight enough that anything Connor got off would have to be a soft ass shot. I mean Murphy had him in a position where that's a routine save for an NCAA Div III goalie, yet alone an NHLer. And Peters choked on it, he went full Buckner.

The real peters stood up tonight.

That's what I'm worried about
