What's kind of surprising is that there hasn't really been a leak about what the long-term situation in Buffalo actually is. You'd think some recently retired guy would say something on Spittin' Chiclets, at least.

I think a bunch of it is just apathy. After 13+ years of this, people just don't care anymore. It's not really news worthy.

There's clearly a larger culture issue going on.

I'd think that Lindy Ruff would understand something of what they need, but I think that's the problem of going with first-time coaches and GMs when they burn everything down. The right culture to build back up isn't necessarily understood.

Well the latest I saw, Pegula came to this game to say that it's all ok. He has confidence in the players, the GM, and the Coach. The issue seems to be Pegula is just too focused on the Bills success, doesn't really care what's happening with the Sabres. Anyone with half a brain can see that their string of GMs have all been terrible, and the Coaching hires are not great for the team they have.
