This game isn't over. This is where we need the leaders in the locker room - Kreider, Hank, anyone else - to stand up and get the young guys pumped up. This is a winable game.
Ottawa clogged up the middle and have been doing it since the middle of the first. Rangers have no answer for it.
Eh, I would say Gorton offset that with some great trades, awesome RFA contracts, and lots of good, young talent on ELCs.Oh cassano
Years of giving out big contracts to shot-blocking machines and bringing the big ufas over.
Here’s the result
dump it in, go get it? clogged middle should be the easiest thing for this team to handle. ha.Ottawa clogged up the middle and have been doing it since the middle of the first. Rangers have no answer for it.
I have liked almost his every move starting with the Stepan trade.Eh, I would say Gorton offset that with some great trades, awesome RFA contracts, and lots of good, young talent on ELCs.
The fights and the refs.I don't understand how they come out on fire and then just stop playing. Ottawa starts getting aggressive and forechecking hard and it's a mess while the Rangers can't establish anything down low.
They don't seem to have anyone who is a disrupter and can create havoc when the puck is dumped in. Even a pathetic defense like Ottawa's they get outmuscled constantly.dump it in, go get it? clogged middle should be the easiest thing for this team to handle. ha.

The McDonagh trade is the one I’m not in love with. I like Hajek, but Miller for Namestnikov seemed like an unnecessary component of that deal.I have liked almost his every move starting with the Stepan trade.
yeah even going back to last year they're really weak physicallyThey don't seem to have anyone who is a disrupter and can create havoc when the puck is dumped in. Even a pathetic defense like Ottawa's they get outmuscled constantly.
Blow the team up completely. So what's the new fix-all?
At the time miller really wasn’t anything special, I remember ppl constantly trashing him.The McDonagh trade is the one I’m not in love with. I like Hajek, but Miller for Namestnikov seemed like an unnecessary component of that deal.
Mza and mcdonagh trades didn't get full value imo.The McDonagh trade is the one I’m not in love with. I like Hajek, but Miller for Namestnikov seemed like an unnecessary component of that deal.
And he was in line for a big raise. At the time miller really wasn’t anything special, I remember ppl constantly trashing him.
Blow the team up completely.
Miller got dumped because he was low-key bad in the locker room and the 3rd best LW on the team behind Zucc and Kreider about to get paid $5M+. You can't structure a team like that. The McDonagh trade is the one I’m not in love with. I like Hajek, but Miller for Namestnikov seemed like an unnecessary component of that deal.
His one playoff goal in like 45 playoff games spoke volumesAt the time miller really wasn’t anything special, I remember ppl constantly trashing him.
