If we lose it’s a great lesson that you have to leave everything on the ice no matter who you playing against every night.
If we win it’s a great confidence boost.

All I see is win-win

I don't understand how they come out on fire and then just stop playing. Ottawa starts getting aggressive and forechecking hard and it's a mess while the Rangers can't establish anything down low.

dump it in, go get it? clogged middle should be the easiest thing for this team to handle. ha.
They don't seem to have anyone who is a disrupter and can create havoc when the puck is dumped in. Even a pathetic defense like Ottawa's they get outmuscled constantly.

I see how it is, I assault reporters and get a night in jail, but some jackass in a gritty costume does it and everyone laughs.

yeah even going back to last year they're really weak physically

The McDonagh trade is the one I’m not in love with. I like Hajek, but Miller for Namestnikov seemed like an unnecessary component of that deal.
At the time miller really wasn’t anything special, I remember ppl constantly trashing him.

Mza and mcdonagh trades didn't get full value imo.

Grabner trade was great.

Miller got dumped because he was low-key bad in the locker room and the 3rd best LW on the team behind Zucc and Kreider about to get paid $5M+. You can't structure a team like that.

I don't think you can separate the miller/names part from the mcdonagh for 1/2/prospects part. They're part of each other. McDonagh was beat up and the whole league was lukewarm on him. We like to believe differently but it's the case.
