The Sens definitely pulled us into the goonery, got us unfocused

Refs completely ruined that period, what garbage

Never should have been on the PK in the first place; Tkachuk falls onto our goalie and Duclair is the 3rd man in, yet rather than keeping it even we get the extra because Trouba shoves a guy off of our goalies back

So the Tkachuk trip never even should have had an opportunity to happen, but then anyway Skjei's stick slaps Tkachuk's mid section and yet he rides it into the ground in a dive that a blind man could call;

Then Smith gets tripped on the PK along the boards and nothing

Ridiculous

They scored twice on their first 14 shots.

That was such a Jeklyll and Hyde 1st period. First half, we didn't even hear Georgies name. 2nd half of period, that's all we heard was Georgie's name.

Trials and tribulations of this young team we got. I dunno, I liked the compete level. We just need to score some goals as Nilsson played great for Ottawa. Not too worried yet.
