I'm going to help us count the meaningless ones by posting that after every meaningless one.Situationally they definitely do. Broadly speaking not as much as someone like Joe talks like they do, so maybe not overall percentage.
I'd like to see some sort of stat tracked that is 'high leverage situational' faceoff percentage. PK,PP, off an icing, late in period, score dependent. Strip out the meaningless ones and then we could have a stat that actually definitely matters.
They need all the help they can get, the Rangers don't look bad, and we only get better as the game goes on. Wait til the third period, we will come out guns blazin. Shesterkin will steal this game.Sammy Blais is the best player on the opposing team. Taking out Rangers and disallowing Rangers goals. He's been great for the other team.
And now half the time a team scores your have to hold your breath to see if it's actually a goal. It's so frustrating and sucks the life out of gamesWhen Tampa got swept by the Blue Jackets, I think it was game 4 when the Jackets had like a 2 minute cycle and scored on it. And then they called the goal back on a challenge because the entry was offsides like 1min 30 seconds before the goal lol. f***ing BS that stuff.
They created an issue out of a play (the Duchene goal) that happens every 10 years. And now it just ruins it so much.
He’s either injured, or did absolutely nothing to prepare for this season.Panarin is a TOTAL NO SHOW

Hunt looks like the villain from the incredibles, and also jack eichel
I saw Kakko with Kreider and Goodrow. That's progressYet kaako still stapled to Panarin lol
Knock it the f*** off. Oh, so it's better to be a team full of p***yes who get mugged while their teammates watch waiting for the refs to handle it.
No choice though with Chytil out from early in the period. They’ll probably settle down a bit from the second.Yo Gallant, spin those lines!
Chytil knocked himself out skating around with Lindros vision. Blais was offside, sure, but the rule is dumb as currently written and enforced. The offside play should have directly contributed to the goal or it shouldn’t be relevant. In this case, Blais offsides would be a routine offside if it was whistled when it happened. That fact that significantly later we ended up with a goal has nothing to do with the offsides. It’s not like Blais blew a 2 on 1 directly ruining the goal. It was a routine offside the refs missed. The goal is unrelated, and the rule should be amended for these situations.
Not much you can do. He’ll end up with two points and the game winner.Panarin is a TOTAL NO SHOW

We are down 1 - but we played a good road period. And that Rooney penalty was not a great call. The refs in general (not just Rangers games) have been calling just stupid penalties early in the season. I think the NHL purposely does that early in the year to make sure scoring is up. But it's annoying.
On the PP goal we did give up, I couldn't tell why this happened, but it's very odd that it was just Zib covering netfront suddenly. I think 1 of our D must have chased out of position.
