OT: 119th Obsequious Banter Thread April Foods Day

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

    Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

My eyes breathed a miniature sigh of relief when I switched back to dark for the first time in...how long has it been?

Let's be honest, Vlad is being nice by only saying I had a goal...I feel like this could be a great lead into our own men's league game recap thread...

Down a goal with 11 seconds left, defensive zone draw. Puck drops and gets fumbled around in our zone for a couple seconds. The puck squirts loose and one of our guys picks it up. Since we were down a goal me and another guy started to leave the zone. I get a pass sent my way and we've got a 2 on 1. I head man the puck, look up, and see 3 seconds left on the clock. I let the guy who I passed it to know, as he kind of had an outside step on the defender. I keep driving the net and at the last second he throws the puck over to me...game on the line, a second left, probably an open net, puck on my stick...just kidding, puck wasn't on my stick...I missed the pass and we lose 7-6
