7-6 loss, but a decent game. Cody had a goal. I played defense, led a mini rush that ended in a goal. Would have been a secondary assist but they don’t give those out.
I also used black tape… my sincere apologies.

Let's be honest, Vlad is being nice by only saying I had a goal...I feel like this could be a great lead into our own men's league game recap thread...
Down a goal with 11 seconds left, defensive zone draw. Puck drops and gets fumbled around in our zone for a couple seconds. The puck squirts loose and one of our guys picks it up. Since we were down a goal me and another guy started to leave the zone. I get a pass sent my way and we've got a 2 on 1. I head man the puck, look up, and see 3 seconds left on the clock. I let the guy who I passed it to know, as he kind of had an outside step on the defender. I keep driving the net and at the last second he throws the puck over to me...game on the line, a second left, probably an open net, puck on my stick...just kidding, puck wasn't on my stick...I missed the pass and we lose 7-6
