Genuine question: why did all of you wait until today to vote? There are so many options for early voting now.

I hate voting early or by mail unless I can't be present on election day.Genuine question: why did all of you wait until today to vote? There are so many options for early voting now.
I’m old fashioned.Genuine question: why did all of you wait until today to vote? There are so many options for early voting now.
Well...personally I cast an early mail in ballot and in person. I also was able to get my cat to vote since she avoided getting eaten by the immigrant horde...<sarcasm>Genuine question: why did all of you wait until today to vote? There are so many options for early voting now.
1:40 here for me this morning. Lil’ HCette was a rockstar for the whole thing.
Like now still in line?!My wife wanted to take the baby but there was no way she'd sit for that long.
My wife knows a fellow educator who got in line at Demasi around 4 when she finished her last conference....and she's still in line.

Demasi was where I voted.
Holy shit.I missed the mail in registration because they changed the process here this year. The early voting location is only 2 miles from my house, but every time I drove by, the line was as long as the one I was in today.
I expected today to be shorter because of all the early, but at my local place today they lost a machine right out of the gate. 3 machines to 2 to open the day and they never recovered.
Yup. Pizza to the Polls just showed up.
3 Hours just to get from evesboro-medford to the back corner oof the building. Probably another hour at least, if not more.Holy shit.

So, when I got in line at 9AM, I would categorize the line I was in as 3 parts of a square. The door, to a corner of parking lot, over to the other corner and then about as far of that initial line down towards Evesboro-Medford. That took 1:40 as I mentioned before. When I got out the line was longer than when I started. I would have never imagined 5 hours.3 Hours just to get from evesboro-medford to the back corner oof the building. I drove past the spots on Elbo Lane and cars everywhere parked on street and Cops directing traffic.
The Pizza to the polls reminds me of the water episode from Curb Your EnthusiasmI missed the mail in registration because they changed the process here this year. The early voting location is only 2 miles from my house, but every time I drove by, the line was as long as the one I was in today.

The Kettle Run firehouse had a good hundred cars parked on the sides of Hopewell Rd. No, there are not any shoulders there. Everyone was either in grass or on a sidewalk.
There’s a Kessel Run joke in there somewhere. There's a Facebook group poster ( i know) who sad 5h 34m at kettle run.

Wild.
While on number of machines, I believe their were six at that location.
Wait a minute. They had 3 machines total? One of three locations on the island had 5. That’s for one ward.
While still a travesty...the voter participation is encouraging.Wife's colleague just left. Line is still expected to be about two hours based on a picture she sent. Insane.
For clarity, she didn't leave before voting. But she took a picture of the line and while it's not still at the road, it's not far from it either.

Same here - my son was off school today so I took him (3block walk was well) in and out at 8:30 in ~5 mins. They're often different locations. For me, early voting is a 30 minute drive and doing it today is a 3 block walk.
Plus I know there won't be a line where I live.
The joke is, "What's that in parsecs?" I was thinking of it before looking at your post. There’s a Kessel Run joke in there somewhere.
My family lives in Camden County and they’re like “I didn’t even wait.”
