Kind of off putting in terms of the slippery slope on a broader scale type of way that that technology can be manipulated like that imo. But at the same time I don’t really feel sympathy for terrorists getting their dicks blown off.

Meh....I think both sides engage in terrorist tactics..one just happens to be a state actor and the other an irregular army/paramilitary force as far as Hezbollah. The Lebanese regular army is a joke and would be overrun by Israel in a heartbeat.

While Israel is clever tactically...not sure they are wise in the long game even if we're dragged into a wider regional conflagration on their behalf. .or Netanyahu's, Smotrich, Gallant and Ben Gvir's behalf to be more exact.

This may be a clever tactic to soften Hezbollah before a bigger attack but supposedly the current admin is applying pressure not to escalate in advance of the election. Not sure Netanyahu and his regime will be disuaded though....

We are at an inflection point again with that conflict. The Ukraine situation is perilous especially as they attack deeper into Russia. If Western missiles are used we may be in a Cuban missile crisis. So far Putin has flinched with each escalation as far as Western weapon introduction and support but we are getting closer and closer to a Russia vs Nato situation and that will be WWIII....
