I prefer broccoli rabe on my DiNic's roast beef and sharp provolone sandwich...

Pizza hut was all the rage when I was a kid (grew up in the 70s and 80s), now it’s shit
In the 80's I recall it being really good....

It was greasy crap back then too, you just didn't know any better.

Why is Wawa trying Pizza? My only guess is they are looking at the 2 to 5 am crowd. It cannot be better than local places

I've got fond memories of it from the mid 90s, too. If you did something during the school year (I forget exactly what, perfect attendance, reading a certain number of books, something like that) you got to go to a pizza party with the Principal and got a free one of those personal little pan pizzas at the end of the term.

Oh man, I looked it up that location, it's still got the old school exterior and most of the interior decoration. I may have to stop by just for nostalgia's sake next time I'm in Asheville.

We didn't realize how good we had it until it was gone.

Old school Pizza Hut was definitely different than it is today. The bottom of the crust was the difference, which was super buttery and crispy almost like the outside of a well cooked grilled cheese. I'm guessing it had to do with the specific type of pan they used to cook them in and the probable pound of butter they lined the pan with before putting the dough in.

Pizza hut was the best when I was growing up in the 90s. Then some time around the mid 2000s the pan pizza was different and way too salty. Then Domino's redid everything and became good and better in the end.

thats what a pan pizza is, deeper pan with vegetable oil in the bottom to crisp it up

How many strage ideas and beliefs....but the most beautiful thing to read is prosciutto crudo that becomes dried ham lol.
Prosciutto crudo, is uncooked, dry cured ham from the hind leg of the pig.

In Italian prosciutto translates to ham in english.

Not sure what the big deal is. Yeah it is not the ham we eat here and prosciutto is sweeter in the way that it is cured...but it is still a pork product.

It wasn't specifically added as a choice but ham was. No need to split hairs but yeah if I am ordering pizza ..I will say prosciutto and not the english derivative ..ham.

Pizza Hut and dominos are slowly going away inside major cities. They exist close to airports and transportation hubs and hotels now.
Little Caesar’s is making a come back as being a reliable “you know what you’re getting” pizza, but in neighborhoods that are not so nice.
With grub hub existing, wawa can slip into that area and fill the void where little Caesar’s is not.

I would suspect that an Italian might call prosciutto crudo "ham." Can all of you ask your grandmothers about this?
