18 goals in 38 games on the season. 21st in goals per game in the AHL. There are only 56 players league wide with 20 or more. Only 4 players that have played as many or fewer games than Ammo that have more goals.
Linus Karlsson - 21 in 30 (great career numbers in Sweden and the AHL. Is he just an AAAA guy?
Jonathan Lekkerimaki - 19 in 32
Sam Colangelo - 19 in 38
Ethen Frank - 20 in 35 (another AAAA guy)
He might be among a case to replace Berggren next season.
I've been skeptical because of his size, but he's definitely taken a step up. I'm all for seeing what he can do.

Lol you already gave up on Berggren? Him having a down year when a contract is due could be a blessing.

Or it could be a sign he’s not cut out for his role on the team. And I’d rather pay a player for performing well than shrugging and saying I got a discount because a bad performance. You get what you pay for in the NHL.
Burgers is a low to mid tier 2nd liner on a bad team but on a good team he doesn’t fit any lower lineup role. The wings need more than that. They need someone that’s a positive defensively that can create just as much or more offense. Lombardi might be that guy.

Not sure how close this is, but one guy who comes to mind is Tyler Johnson. Ammo is listed as 5'11" but I don't know whether that's accurate or not. Tyler Johnson is 5'8". Johnson put up PPG totals in the AHL and had five 20-goal seasons in the NHL. They are both small-ish wingers who can skate and have loads of skill, and they both had 100 point seasons in their final year of juniors.

Berggren will be 25 this summer and has played nearly 150 NHL games. Serious question: how much further do you expect him to develop?
I like him and I think hes better than some ppl think and would hate to deal him now when his value's low but I dont see how he makes it past next season if he even gets there with all the kids coming up
If We can throw him in a package for romanov I'd do it

If he’s not dealt now then he likely walks for nothing.
Some team might look at him and want to take a flyer thinking they can get him to be more productive. Pittsburgh, Buffalo, San Jose, Chicago, and other teams that are thin up front might gamble.
He won’t walk for nothing isn’t he still an rfa after next season . If he’s involved in a package for a significant piece cool. If we trade him now what do we get ? A 4th? Rather hang on especially if a lombardi,buchelnikov gets delayed a year and Yzerman does his job and gets rid of the likes of tarasenko,compher and he can play on the 3rd line at least and 2nd ppl
Mclellan at least knows he doesn’t belong on the 4th line.... trading him to one of those teams gets us squat back. 2026 top 10 protected 1st+ Berggren + wallinder? Maybe can get us a Romanov or in a deal for another dman
He got just over 9 minutes of ice time last night, by far the lowest of the team. It's probably not going to work when 2 coaching staffs in a row clearly are not impressed.

I’d trade Berggren to the sharks just to get rid of Justin holl, not sure if they’d take that tho.

They already owe us "future considerations" they should just take him.
Always said he had no future here longterm. Unless the kids show they're ready and we need spots I'm not gonna give him away for a 4-6th pick
Rather throw him In a package deal like I said. Still think there's a 40-50 pt guy there on the right team. I'd much rather get rid of tarasenko etc.. and hold on to him a other year
