Thing is that this should apply to fully electric vehicles..not ones that also use fuel like my Volt. Gonna have to call Pendot bc it would be BS to be essentially double taxed. They did send me a letter a few months ago reclassifying my volt as a hybrid and not EV ...so guessing it was for this reason...it better be.

I95 over Cottman Ave in Philly. They just finished replacing the whole road there.



It will likely be months. I supported a highway construction system for a decade, so i know a fair amount. Bridge beams are custom made for the exact use. Since it was just built, they will not have to do engineering, they have the specs, that will save a little time. Rebuild will be a little quicker also because they do not have to keep the road open.

I don’t have to take 95 fortunately for work but our daily delivery trucks usually come through northbound from the south which should be a logistic pain in the ass.

It sounds like fortunately nobody was hurt in this whole ordeal.

Yeah. I think it shut down 95 for like a week, but it took months to fix.
