No...he isn't. Anderson is a developing forward, Smith is a place holder until the young guys get it, same goes for McKegg and Haley.

I'm typing this slow so Quinn understands. The absence of Mark Staal was a big reason why you won two games. The absence of Mark Staal had almost nothing to do with losing the last game. Putting him in the lineup is stupid.

An example of a coach managing perception rather than doing his job and putting the team in the best position to succeed.

In terms of development, is Anderson meant to look at McKegg Haley Smith and go "that's what I'm meant to do"? Or is he meant to watch the more skilled lines and then come up with a plan on how to play similar while on a line with 2 of those 3?

I feel like its more politics than anything. They feel like they owe it to him to give him playing time. I don't believe they can watch him play and think that he improves this team's chances of winning.
