I can live with that. But as for me, I liked him as a player since Arizona, so I would like him to succeed anywhere he goes, even if it’s on the Islanders. And I can’t really say that about any other player, other than the “good guys” like Zucc and Hank (but even then I wouldn’t care as much).

It's really just that Kakko-Howden-Lemieux line that is getting hemmed every time.

Color me surprised that Howden is getting reamed out possession wise.

He really needs to sit for Andersson next game. McKegg looks solid, and the 4th line is even this game in terms of corsi.

But, what do we know. Howden does the things Quinn wants and Andersson doesn't.

weird one on Trouba just looked like he caught a rut and lost his balance. He’s a battleship out there it happens.

is the rest of the league ever going to catch on that Tony DeAngelo is an emerging star? They’ve got the full sell on Fox tonight but not a word on Tony. And it’s nothing new. Nhl Network didn’t even have him in our top 6 this summer. Kid has 11 pts in 13 games and 5 goals?

haha as I’m typing this Jones brings him up on NBC. But my point remains.

Lemieux has been good.

that second line is a real handful Chytil is just a horse.

putting Fast ok that top line is Brutal but I get it. They’re protecting Kakko a bit letting him build confidence. This won’t last long though. He needs to be up there.

How would you define his speed and the fact that he makes more than John Carlson?
 
Not related to this game but from the Russian 5 commercial. Was Don Cherry's "no way, is this hockey night in Canada or hockey night in Russia" the most self-parody thing of all time?
 
The way Strome is putting up points, we aren't' going to be able to afford him(Tony, Lemiuex and someone i'm forgetting come first). Might bring back something decent at the deadline.

THIS. There was a thread in the beginning of the year (main boards) asking who you think is your surprise breakout star of the year, and I said ADA because has never gotten the respect he deserves IMO. Yea he was mentioned today, but that’s an exception. I’m not saying the league hates him, but damn. And I like Fox nearly as much as him, so I’m not complaining about him getting some recognition.

looks like they make the same amount

and John Carlson's agent isn't as good as Jacob Trouba's agent.

I still remember that night when he scored the hat trick and we all went crazy over his mom and sister lol I WAS THERE! Although I was on my previously banned acct.

Yeah but even a bad team like Detroit is going to pounce back and try and take control. Let’s see how the 3rd period goes. I expect another Rangers goal, not an EN one.

I can remember trades from 25 years ago but I have a hard time recalling details about past games, but I'll never forget Stepan's first game.

I know everything these days is lost in an Instagram second , but with all fairness to Grapes, it was hard to sympathize with Soviets when they were a double agent in both World Wars and we then spent another 40+ years in a nuclear stalemate that outside of horrific proxy wars never went fully hot due to M.A.D.
