He's saying that at the angle it was shot, it doesn't really seem probable that it went over the separator and then fell fast enough to land in the middle of the Wild's bench.

They didn't show us very good angles on the Wild feed (naturally), so it's hard to say for sure, but Scandella definitely didn't lob it skyward.

The more worrying bit is how some people noted how stressed Yeo looks. It's one thing to choke and have a bad game. It's another if our own coach can't handle the pressure of some hype (big, benchmark game; see how good the team really is; etc.).
