Both Toronto and Columbus are well within the Lightning’s perch atop the East.

As good as the start was it’s time to face reality. Yeah, this team is good, but they are not special. Solid playoff team, one of a few in the East. The Lightning will go as far as Vasy takes them. Fun to be in the hunt, but certainly not a favorite and DEFINITELY not some generational caliber squad.

I'm not sure how you get that from this game. We were borderline dominant at the point we went on the PP, had a great PP, then a rookie mistake by Serg cost us a goal, followed up an eternity of 5-on-3. This one really can't be chalked up to "effort." The effort is there.

No it was clearly against rules. But crosby and pens are playing using a different set of rules.
NHL can post as many video explanation as they want. But rules are posted online and everyone can read them. It is just a business, nothing more. The face of the league needs help and refs try to help him every game now.
