This team spends so much time in neutral/shell mode that the second they have to open up they just completely fall apart because they haven't practiced in game speed how to maintain any form of structure beyond a snail's pace in years

No shots on goal in the first 12 minutes of the 3rd period is just not a good strategy. I don't know why they haven't learned this lesson yet.

Hard to look at this game by itself. I'm still salty about the Columbus game, and so this felt like a game you had to get 2 to make up for not getting 2 in Columbus. Parts of this game are perfectly fine but there's others where you shake your head because we shoot ourselves in the foot consistently. Dallas is a good team, so tip your hat to them, but 2-2 going into the 3rd you just need a better effort all together and it wasn't good enough

When you have to say this after every other game I feel like there’s a problem. Maybe he just says it to reporters and forgets to tell the team about it.

This is a fringe playoff team at best with an ever rapidly aging defense core. JBB is delaying the inevitable as this is not a realistic cup contender. If you think they are then you’re either living in 2020 or an unrealistic homer.
