Christ Callahan is a poor shooter. I can't remember the last time the dude scored on a legitimate slap shot. I think a couple of years ago there was a set-one-timer play with an empty net down 2 goals vs Detroit where he managed to do it. Might've been in the 2016 playoffs.

That was a concern after the surgery. He is pretty good with the speed out there, and doing his thing with the hits, happy with his play, just little to show for it to this season on the points column. Having a strong game, imo.

I think the Hawks' broadcasters have accurately deduced our PP issues. We're just getting into lazy one-timer mode.

Did you see how quickly the hawks got their sticks on Kuch and Stamkos's shooting lanes? They were well prepared for our PP, they're cheating to the walls because they know how we cycle.

Hedman needs to get a shot from the top of the point on net and stop making the predictable passes.

This plus they aren't adapting. The Hawks are reading the play and blocking the passes and they're still out there like "This hasn't worked all game but maybe this time it will be different !!!!"

Need to keep playing more like this in the 3rd, just keep the penelties down (both for and against since our PP have stopped working) and drive their net.

He had a big goal against the Flyers last year but it wasn't like an outright GOOD shot. He gets a lot of tap ins and deflections. 9 times out of 10 he shoots the puck and it's gonna go straight into the logo

He used to have a pretty good shot. Think he needs to work on it and try and get it back. Maybe the 2nd surgery has made him feel good but feels different with how he shoots and needs to adjust? But also think with his role he has been holding back.
