I really wish that the NHL implements the over and back rule like the KHL did for OT.
We need to get rid of 3 on 3. They literally fixed what wasn't broken because we got 3 on 3 for the first time by accident and no one knew wtf to do. The NHL overcorrected thinking this would happen every time and made it the norm. f*** 3 on 3. They geeked it up and it's just possession game

Probably not the win you wanted to see them build with off of the wins vs NJ and Winnipeg, but it's a win none the less. Just kind of hung around long enough for Point to activate hero mode and get a bounce here and there

Point with a hell of a welcome back! Kuch was off all night. I loved the kids line and Moser was solid all night as usual.
Moser saved a goal there, preventing Crosby from getting 600. That was the patented Crosby deflection and it was going over Big Cat's blocker top titty, but Moser got a stick in there to send it out of play.

Love Moser, LMFAO at Utah for trading him after 1 meh year in Arizona in their university arena shitshow team situation

The league obviously doesn't want to get rid of it. So the idea would be to kill the constant possession and going back. Force the players to actually push the play. Simplest way that could speed that could force the play is the over and back rule. Got to stay within the zone. KHL has it so you can't cross the Red line.

I think they got used to not having Point in the lineup for a little bit so when he was in, they had to readjust

Get rid of offside. I know it won't happen, but it'd be nice.

We'll get rid of offside once a star tears their groin trying to stay onside. Reactionary society

minor note, but I do think Goncalves is earning his stay for the meantime. Set up Cirelli and Chaffee for A+ chances in a game where we didn't really have a lot of them the first 2 periods. Doesn't hurt as well that Raddysh isn't doing much to help his case for a 11/7 set up. Big mistake on Rakell which led to Crosby putting one off the post. Could have easily made the difference in this game if he scores there.
