Yeah, they got blitzed for 2 minutes, and nobody could stop the bleeding. Mentally fragile in that game. But they had a tough time with Anaheim the game before, and were down 3-0 to Nashville at home in the game before that. They have 2 regulation wins in the last 10 games. 3 in the 11 games without Carter. 3-4-4 in regulation without Carter. Masked by some OT and SO wins.
They were 5-0-1 with Carter, which wasn't going to last the whole season, but they've been treading water at best for a month. It's been going downhill since Toffoli's last second goal against the Bruins.
