I agree. I rather keep him. Need some young vets on this team. I like Strome. He is underrated, 2 way forward. Changed his game to stay in the NHL. He worked hard at it.

I don’t doubt this isn’t a new organizational philosophy. It does seem like everyone is talking about it a bit more this week though. Again, I’m fine with it. I wish he stuck it out in Hartford and got to build a winning culture with the other guys but I also know not all 19 year olds are the same. And managing people, sometimes certain personalities need to be handled in a certain way. It’s a bit overblown but also I would have preferred he found a way to make it work here.

Don’t get me wrong, I would’ve preferred he stayed, but it feels like fans are taking it more personal than it needs to be taken. And it’s all being talked about more this week because Chytil and Lindgren have been called up and seem to be a catalyst for this whole team playing better
