I think if Chytil just shows some great flashes of effort in the first and one of spooner or namestnikov do not, Quinn will not hesitate to give chytil some more shifts on better lines. Quinn likes to make changes midgame also.

His comments seem to prioritize getting Chytil minutes in the middle. Although it's hard for me to see what benefit he gets with a winger like McLeod. He'd be better of playing with better players on the wing IMO.

Regardless, yo-yoing him from wing to center is stupid. So I hope this is the final move. Frankly, Howden has slowed down considerably. I see no reason as to why he shouldn't be centering the 4th and letting Chytil play with Names and Buch.

All that being said, continuity would be nice. I really don't understnad how players can build chemistry with the insanity with which Quinn changes his lines.

"Outside player" It's perimeter player, Dave.

You saw one in Nash for half a decade. :sarcasm:

Could be a move to take the pressure off, if Quinn thinks he's gripping the stick a bit too tight. Centering McLeod and Fast gives him wingers who can cover defensively if he pushes up a bit, and there isn't really the expectation that that line should be carrying the scoring load. It's a safe spot to help a kid exhale and settle down a bit. As long as he still gets out there for ~15 minutes or so, and this doesn't become a "season long role," I don't really have a problem with it.

Well the LA team started worst than us and they are at home and need to start to show the management to not totally blow the roster up before the TDL next year in LA. But they look like they need more than a retool at the moment, and not because of their top line which is usually fine in the last years, but the LA Team has many weaknesses.
I hope LA win otherwise they have better chance to steal the draft #1 pick next summer in 2019; Chytil 1 goal, 1 Zib goal, 1 Kreider goal is my prediction this evening - and it will be a difficult game so we lose 3-5 in LA! :)

Since when did McLeod become a defensive stalwart. He is just a trash player. Fast, sure.
