There is literally no way to interpret anything that I wrote as me "putting too much on him." It is absurd.

I explained why I said I could see the logic. It's about player psychology and how to develop young players. I've coached kids for years and understand that the block is sometimes in a guy's head rather than in their skill/pedigree. If it were always as simple as "play him with top guys until he figures it out" then that's what everyone would do.

And here it comes 'I coach players so I know more than you.' Do you realize how condescending this type of statement is? It's no better than 'I played so I know more than you.' The majority of us grew up playing sports on here. It's not some foreign concept and you're not the only one with experience on a team.

Morever, in regards to Chytil, you're the one talking about high expectations. That would mean your reason for justifying his demotion (or preference for him to go to the AHL) is that you set expectations higher than others and feel Chytil is not meeting them. I would completely disagree with that assessment and feel the only people who think this way are ones who lack patience and only look at G/A/P instead of the teams performance when he is on the ice versus off (which, as you can infer, is significantly better when he is on.)

Why would you play your 4th line when there's been like 15 minutes of standing around this period

BUT MUH CHEETULL

Spooner had the puck, skated with it a bit, entered the zone and successfully passed it to a Rangers player.

I'm going to remember this when somebody says he's been invisible later on.

There is a difference between playing a sport and coaching a sport. I was offering a perspective that I had that is based on experience. That's all. This is the second post in a row from you where you've tried to turn it into a pissing match rather than a discussion. I'm done. Believe what you want re: the best way to develop a player.

Horrible period of hockey. That was the opposite of entertainment, regardless of our guys having the lead.

They're interviewing two guys on the Kings feed who are going to all of the sports games (except the Ducks game) today in Socal--hockey, football, basketball, soccer and baseball.
