Panarin is the driving force let’s be realistic here. Against good teams they get buried as a line and have been fortuitous. That Carolina game the eye and analytics test for them was scary bad

I think you could make an argument that any player who’s top 10 in scoring since 2015 could be top 5. He’s great defensively too and a lot of analytics have him right there with McDavid in terms of possession and driving offence. He has possession of the puck in the offensive zone during the game more than any player in the league, McDavid is 2nd

By literally every metric jesper Fast is an offensive anchor. But be irrational why don’t you.

I don't think you have any concept of how near-elite defensive hockey ends up leading to offensive chances at the other end, irrespective of the points he puts up.

I agree he's not the ideal guy to be on the wing of your elite offensive player, but he's not some garbage AHL player like Christensen or many other top 6 players we've seen come through here.
