His forechecking & backcheck is what’s impressed me most seeing him play for us so far, he always gets his stick in the exact place it should be to strip players of the puck. He’s so underrated defensively, I’m a homer but I think you could argue he’s a top 5 player in the league

Thats a good point too. I admittedly didn't know this about him. He is easily top 10 to me. Top 5 isnt crazy either. I agree.

I agree, and beyond that like others have said he sees the ice so well and just controls the puck. It’s quite impressive and happy we have him. It should (likely already is) accelerating our rebuild.

Jesper Fast is a really good player. Just because you have irrationally hated him for years doesn't mean he sucks.

Panarin is a great player. He is not top 5 in this league. That's like crazy homer stuff.

Really happy to see Lindgren rewarded with a goal. He’s been very solid. Strome, for his warts and my overt dislike of him (something I can’t necessarily explain, I just don’t feel he’s a genuine top six player and don’t want us committing to him long term) is making me look stupid as he has 48 points in 78 games as a Ranger. Part of that may be opportunity due to lack of depth ahead of him, but we haven’t had a lot of 50 point players so I have to give credit where it’s due.
