Meanwhile Howden plays with actual NHL'rs and has done nothing to warrant it. When Lias gets an extended stay with real NHL players and continues to perform the way he has, I'll come around to your point of view.

According to the NHL rulebook, yes.

It's a poorly written rule but it is what it is. The ref has to call it.

This is as bad as the SC ring argument. Playing in the ECF means nothing, yes. Tanner Glass is not good because he played in the ECF. Also, solid mins? He averaged 10 mins per night, one of the lowest on the entire team.

And until Lias gets an actual chance to prove he can do something, with real linemates, I'll reserve judgement.
