So far this was a big fat nothing burger...no measurable snow. Standing by my prediction of end of Feb early March for a snow event...

I don't see anything good out of this proxy war between nuclear powers continuing to escalate. People acting like this war is some Milton Bradley board game like Stratego....and that this is all going to remain contained. Then you have the Orwellian thought processes where people believe in two contradictory statements equally....Russia and Putin are nuts....but no way they would be crazy enough to engage in a nuclear exchange. China wouldn't let them ..blah blah blah. This bathroom "sword" fight and pissing match needs to end period. So much for democracy....you got half of the German population saying this is a bad move on their part and where will it stop with arms after these initial tank deliveries. Here the discourse is pretty much non-existent about the dangers of this proxy war continuing unabated.

Yeah, this ain't a proxy war and you don't let imperialism run unchecked. Putin's goal is re-establishing the Russian Empire and has openly stated he considers all former territories to be Russian soil. That includes NATO countries. He's delusional and completely high on his own propaganda, and has proven he will actually try to get the old territory back.

If you fear escalation, then the solution is making sure Russia is destroyed in Ukraine as they try to get the empire's bedrock territory back. Kill the effort at the start. Otherwise they finish in Ukraine and start turning elsewhere.
