The Child: "I want all my baby teeth to fall out and be replaced by tongues"
It was 8am. It's too f***ing early to say that to anyone.
I smell a deep Goth phase coming on in about 10 years. Get used to Siouxsie and The Banshees blasting out of her bedroom when she's a teenager.
Peeekaboo...I blast Siouxsie and The Banshees sometimes myself.

I put together a really good active shooter training at an old job a couple of years ago. A lot of time went into it and tons of research. Kept politics out of it and when I was done I really felt I had something good. I did the feedback forms at the end and a couple of people in the same class said the training was "too dark".the active shooter video i had to watch at work was entertaining at the least

Most active shooting training is flawed....but it is still better than no training IMO...Ours was terrible.
“Hide! Barricade the door!”
Ok cool, that’s great!
Then the people doing so posted up along a sheet rock wall separating them from the gunman rather than putting anything else between them and the gunman. They were trying to hide from the doorway.
I get not everything is going to be perfect and companies are pressured to provide some form of training, but it’s not in-depth enough imo and the police officers that help provide the training are not trained well enough themselves.

Or draw circles on the wall to aim your return fire at.With as flimsy and cheap as the average modular rented office space is, you're probably better off marking where all the studs and wiring are so people can Kool-Aid dive through the walls to get at the shooter before he thinks to blast through them.
