Congratulations to McDavid for sure, 1000 pts in this league at his age is an amazing feat.

Forward scoring and goaltending are bigger issues than defence. The defence more or less is as good as it was last year, the only difference is the PK but the PK is as much on goalies as anyone else.
Good for Nurse for starting to turn his season around. Would be nice if he can get it together.

Yup it’s a real issue with this team for some weird reason, just so many shots that are just Center mass on the goalie. It’s statistically a big enough data set to say it’s not just a fluke, and the powerplay almost cost them tonight, one goal was needed and they couldn’t deliver.

I'm pretty sure I've seen every single one of those 1000 points. I absolutely love this player and the logo he plays for. It's been a privilege to enjoy his career to this point.

The fact that you are ok with 2 of our dmen played bottom 2 for the Coyotes last year and then another dman that has played 40 games total for a Stanley cup contender that is a concernl. Team defence is ok but defenceman needs an upgrade before goaltending FOR SURE. Again so many posts of yours that will not stand the test of time very well. Not sure if you have been watching other games. Goals are up BIG time. The 10th best goalie in the league has barely over a 910 save %.

I thought the 11/7 threw off most of the team's rhythm outside of McDrai, Kulak, and Nurse. I understand it was a temporary and necessary evil and they still grabbed the two points, but it will be good to get back to 4 lines next game.

Kulak has more goals than all but two of our forwards and almost scored again tonight.
Ekholm has been all over it offensively all year. Nice to see Nurse getting untracked.
The forwards other than McDrai really ned to be picking up the bar tab this year. Just nothing.
Career Oiler RNH was pretty invisible tonight as well. Could see the players that were pumped for McD and making extra effort. Those that weren't...

9-7-1 after 17 games compared to 5-11-1 last season. McDavid scoring 1000 faster and younger than all but a few fellow legends, 9 in his last 3 games—all wins—and looking like he’s at the beginning of a season long heater. Things are not too bad right now.

That wasn’t cheating for offense, it was Nurse and Kulak both accustomed to playing LD so they had a brain cramp and nobody covered the right side.
