Not gonna lie, was really expecting him to get 1000 during the last B's game.
Wanted to see if the team was going to come celebrate on the ice like with Bergeron's the week before.

No disrespect to Marleau, but he really does. But he played 1,607 games for the Sharks. Only one player in all of NHL history has played more games for a single franchise (Gordie Howe), so that certainly helps. (For what it's worth, I wouldn't vote for him to enter the HOF, but it's likely that he'll be inducted eventually).
Yeah great career.

It's just one of those things where he's surrounded by mostly legends in that list.

I don't mind Marleau getting inducted or not getting inducted. Him going in wouldn't be a travesty.

There are 21 players who scored 500+ goals and 1,000+ points for one franchise:

Alex Ovechkin, Bobby Hull, Brett Hull, Bryan Trottier, Gilbert Perreault, Gordie Howe, Guy LaFleur, Jarome Iginla, Jean Beliveau, Joe Sakic, Johnny Bucyk, Luc Robitaille, Marcel Dionne, Mario Lemieux, Mike Bossy, Mike Modano, Patrick Marleau, Sidney Crosby, Stan Mikita, Steve Yzerman, Wayne Gretzky

Steve Stamkos will be the 22nd player to do this in a few weeks.

One of these its not like the others.... :naughty:

Also are you sure about Brett Hull? Hockey ref shows 527 goals/936 points with the Blues - unless playoffs is included?

Brett had less than 1000 points with STL, didn’t he?
