This is somehow more boring than the islanders game and I didn’t think that was possible. Offensive black hole this team is

quick definitely not impressive during preseason...but its preseason. will reserve judgement on a guy like him until he's at least had a few games that matter.

actually look pretty functional system wise in the neutral and d zone. offensively they can't seem to generate sht.

panarin has looked absolutely horrific, but again, it's preseason. just don't see anything positive there - like can't catch a pass, can barely take 2 strides with the puck without losing control of it and turning it over. mika has been invisible too but he's always a slow starter and just the way he's moving doesn't worry me the way panarin does.

this team gets credit for it's skill level but up front there really doesn't look like much of any of it so far. some of the vets will wake up but just really nobody that can create something out of nothing, and haven't even seen much of fundamental skills like making and receiving passes or the hockey iq to get to and then find guys in positions to generate offensive chances,

Can we just skip pre-season and this silly nonsense ? Bring on the regular season, then the playoffs , and finally the Stanley Cup. This shit is stupid.

Imagine being such a disgusting, worthless franchise that you draft a 1st overall, a 2nd overall, a goalie that wins a Vezina in his second season and are giftwrapped the best defenseman in the NHL, and the result is a one year “miracle underdog” window.

If this team is like .500 or worse come midseason they need to do what the Yankees did and just call up a bunch of kids and sit or get rid of as many of the vets as possible

Is Goodrow the only one on this team that can carry the puck thru the neutral zone to set up a good chance?
