McNabb looks slow and sloppy. Hasn't had a good preseason, at this point. Wonder if this guy even makes the team.

He looks to be out of position by just the slightest bit. Every time he gets a pass his way, he has to reach out to get it.

Bad penalty to take, too. Was wondering if they were going to call it.
 
I hate this interference ****. The D-man should NOT just let the forward skate through them and pick the puck back up. If a forward comes up against a back skating defenseman and takes his stick off the puck for literally ~1sec while he skates around the D-man to pick it back up this is NOT the forward losing possession, its just them not touching the puck for a second... That is still his puck.
 
God what a sloppy period. Yuck. Martinez scored about 0.2 seconds after the period ended. Damn.

Meh, the same was said about Muzzin, but we waived Hickey and kept him and it turned out alright. It's going to take him a while to adjust and settle on the team.

Slow skater, thinks the game slow, hesitant to move or shoot puck. Not using his physical tools enough. Kid is just not ready, he may need another year in the AHL.

I actually think he would pass waivers, he is not that impressive.

Muzzin played way better than McNabb his first cup of coffee, you remember that eleven game stint right ? Muzzin was lights out. Hell Muzzin's rookie year was impressive, it wasn't till late that year and the playoff's people started getting frustrated with Muzzin.

I can remember comments on this very board, how angry people were that Muzzin got sent back(AHL) after his first 11 NHL games.

Muzzin at the top...

Muzzin/Doughty are like corsi gods.

Williams at the top for forwards.

I also remember times when people on here wanted anyone other than Muzzin. While people may be disappointed that they aren't seeing an amazing defenseman off the bat in the preseason, it is still just the preseason and we gotta give him some games to get going. Preseason ultimately means little, Matt Frattin was our best player in the preseason last year...

Frattin wasn't even close, he looked good. But not even close to the best last preseason.

McNabb doesn't even look average. He looks like a kid that shouldn't be on NHL ice. Lets hope these next two periods he shows something.

Andy looks better, tonight.

Frattin skated hard that preseason and led in many stats, he was everywhere last year before the season started, easily one of our best players.

Also, that is the exact same line that was spouted about Muzzin for years until last season. Just have to wait and see.
